PW Biocide

Description : PW BIOCIDE is a broad-spectrum non-oxidizing biocide.

Uses : PW BIOCIDE is ideally formulated for controlling algae and bacterial species commonly found in cooling water systems. Its efficiency is enhanced when used in conjunction with a quaternary ammonium salt.

PW BIOCIDE can be used in conjunction with all other water treatment chemicals including chlorine and hypochlorite.

Features : PW BIOCIDE is based on a Alkyl Guanidine salt and is effective against a wide range of microbes in near neutral to alkaline pH range.

Applications : PW BIOCIDE should be slug fed to the cooling tower sump at the point of highest mixing.

Dosage : The Dosage level of PW BIOCIDE depends on the type and level of the microorganism present. As a general guideline 40-100ppm will be adequate in controlling the growth of microbial species.
